FAQs About Anthony's Party Rentals

What if the weather looks like rain?

Michigan weather is unpredictable at times. What to do if it begins to rain with moonwalks and other rental items is explained below.

For Moonwalks:

It is okay if the bounce house gets wet. However if it begins to rain heavily, you will want to have the kids exit the moonwalk and turn off the power to the blower. As soon as the weather clears, you may turn the blower back on and allow the bouncer to inflate. Then wipe down access water and allow the kids back in the moon bounce. You may notice bubbles coming from the seams of the bouncer, but this is normal.

For other rental Equipment:

Items are placed under tents when delivered which is where they should stay if it begins to rain. Certain items may be damaged in the rain and the customer is responsible for these items if they are in their possession.  Tents and other items may be okay in the rain, but if it begins to storm heavily, use your better judgment and exit the tent and proceed to safety.

What if it is raining on the day I reserve my rentals?

We still deliver equipment in scattered showers, but depending on the severity of the storm we may not deliver until the next day. Moonwalks rented may be rescheduled to a later date, depending upon availability.

What if there are high winds?

When high winds move in, it’s time to move out. If winds exceed over 25 mph, get the kids out of the bouncer and turn off the blower. When all is calm you may return to normal activities, after a safety check. Please be sure to check if the stakes are still in proper position before resuming activities.

For tent and other rentals, use your better judgment of safety and leave the tent and rentals if the winds get a bit out of control.

How many kids can jump at one time in a Moonwalk/Moonbounce?

Weight and height are keys factors; again use your better judgment to determine a safe amount. We advise no more than 8 smaller children and no more than 6 bigger children. We do not advise to mix the small and bigger children. Bigger children tend to get a little too rambunctious for the smaller children. As always, Adult Supervision Required.

Rules for a Safe and Enjoyable Bounce House or other Inflatable:

  • No silly string in or around the bounce house. Silly string can cause irreparable damage. Customers will be responsible for replacement of the bounce house.
  • No food, drink or gum in the bounce house.
  • Remove shoes, eyeglasses, sharp objects before entering the bounce house.
  • No pets allowed in or around the bounce house. Their teeth and claws will cause irreparable damage, and the customer is liable for tears during the rental period.
  • No excessive weight. Most bounce houses are sturdy and will hold an average of 6-8 children. If adults or big teens enter the bouncer, please only have 3 at a time.
  • No children or items hanging from the nettings. Netting is expensive to repair and customers are responsible for damage.
  • Only one person at a time on all slides and obstacle courses, too many children or people will pose a safety hazard.
  • No flips or rough housing in the bounce house.
  • Turn off Sprinkler systems, they are also to be clearly marked. We are not responsible for damaged sprinkler lines.
  • No jumping near opening. We don’t want anyone to slip out.
